Posted 4:05pm, Friday 21 December 2018
The club is pleased to announce that our recent application for funding to returf the top playing field via the Queensland State Government "Get Playing Places and Spaces" Grant was successful and the club will be receiving $106,000.00 towards the cost of the project.
We would like to thank the Qld State Government and everyone who supported our application with a special thank you to Corrine McMillan the Qld State Member for Mansfield and Steven Huang Cr for the MacGregor Ward who supported our application and who both continue to work tirelessly for their local communities.
A special thank you also to Clairvaux MacKillop College who continue to support and work in partnership with the club allowing us to continue to add improvements to our club facilities.
Work on returfing the field will commence next year at the completion of the 2019 season as the fields will be closed off for a number of months during the returfing and rebuilding stage.
The club will continue its work with the next project being the upgrade of the lighting on the bottom ovals in order to get them up to competition standards.
Stayed tuned for some more exciting news in the coming days...
